Ratings Analysis:
These ratings show how a wrestler advances each week. Sometimes it determines when a certain superstar will get a title shot and which ones need more improvement.
Basically this is just to show how a superstar's status in the NWC as a competitor is monitored.
Right now Chris Williams stands as the first NWC champion. And it also shows Ace Jagger as the number one contender. He is not the number one contender. Jagger is involved in the Cruiserweight division. And his storyline isn't having him being involved in the World title picture.
Just because a superstar is positioned as number one does not necessarily mean he gets the next title shot. Unless he stays in that position or close by that position for several weeks. Then the NWC officals must be forced to give an individual a world title shot.
Also, a storyline that involves certain superstars feuding over the World championship will be taken under consideration first.
Example:
Extreme Vampyr was robbed out of his title shot. Chris Williams is the champion. But Ace Jagger is positioned at number one. Most likely next week Vampyr and Williams feud will lead to them fighting and would not involve Jagger at all.
Jagger is number one because of his victory he had at Night Of The Champions. And he rates over Art Barker and Mark Richman, whom also had victories, because his match was a singles contest. Barker and Richman had a tag team match. Singles matches trumps over tag teams.
